Mega Confusion: Pawan No, Nagababu Yes, Chiru Silent
The Mega confusion continues. Mega brothers Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu are popular for taking different political stands in different times. And this has plunged to new low in the latest issue of currency ban with trio pushing the mega fans into an abysmal.
While Chiru has no reaction on Modi's decision to demonetise high-value notes, Naga Babu has heaped praises on Modi and his brave act. Naga Babu went onto compare the woes of people as kids crying during vaccination and hailed it as the best decision ever taken by a PM. Babu added that the move will help India change drastically and curb the corruption. Whereas Pawan has lamented Modi and his government for not doing proper exercise before delegalising Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes.
It may be noted that Chiranjeevi had opposed Narendra Modi to the core and criticised him in every of his decision, statement before and after 2014 elections. Whereas Pawan Kalyan had rallied for Modi and saw to it that TDP-BJP combine sweep the general elections.
This is all past. Chiru has moved onto films and is busy making a grand comeback with his 150th film. Naturally, Chiru is tight-lipped on the prevailing conditions as he wants to be in the good books of everyone and doesn't want anyone come against his landmark 150th film. Pawan Kalyan has taken a total u-turn. Pawan, who had once supported Modi, is now leaving no stone unturned to rebuke him. First he took a jibe at Modi over the AP's Special Category Status (SCS). Now he pointed out the faults in the execution of demonetisation and asked Centre to take measures to stop unrest in public and help senior citizens.
Seeing the quite contrast statements from Naga Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Chiru, mega fans have no clue on whom to follow and fans too divided among the brothers. While it's common to have differences among brothers on issues and not necessarily have same opinion on issues, what's irking many is going back and forth on some individual or party from time to time. The statements of mega brothers are distracting mega family itself let alone the fans. -
